Vegan Cream Sauce
- 1 (8 ounce) package silken tofu
- 1 1/2 cups soy milk
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic or 1/2 tbs garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons dried dill weed *can reduce to 1 or 1 1/2 tsp*
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
In a blender mix/blend all above ingredients together. Heat over medium heat until it comes to a boil. *For thicker sauce add ingredients below. Adjust ingredients to your own taste. Serve over pasta (delicious with imitation crab or shrimp pasta) or roasted vegetables.
- *To make it thicker add:
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
